IntroductionAccounting is becoming more and more an important and powerful instrument of management in both private and public organisations. In private organisation it is becoming increasingly innovative and is not limited to companies like banking institutions, insurance companies and economic groups.
Accounting as a science has evolved in terms of research and methods developed, as a result, have been adopted by member States of the European Union, which have contributed greatly towards the standardisation of international accounting.
In depth knowledge and training in Accounting is vital for companies to enable them to apply the norms of accounting appropriately and thus contributing towards greater transparency in their accounts and the state of funds of the country.
ObjectivesThe strategy of teaching of the Master’s in Accounting has been designed to combine rigorous scientific training with in-depth practical knowledge especially in those curricular units which are subjects that are indispensible for professionals in careers such as Chartered Accountants and Auditors. These Accounting skills will not only enhance and redefine the profile of professionals but also facilitate access into areas of Scientific Research.
