IntroductionIn a Society that is developing, the Public Sector is one of the agents that has the most responsibility for the introduction of the necessary in-depth transformations in different institutions of the State, such as values, technical knowledge, innovative capacity, through the adoption of Management Instruments and Techniques that are able to facilitate change.
The Master’s Degree in Public Management aims to train executives who are qualified and characterised by a level of in-depth studies in different areas of knowledge, which would include the development of competencies required to carry out their functions in the area of Public Management. In addition, through rigorous training, it aims to prepare the various decision-makers of the public sector to assume the responsibilities and commitment to promote change and introduce important improvements in their areas of responsibility.
ObjectivesTo deepen the integration of fundamental knowledge of management, economics and statistics to create a general common culture of Management:
1. To integrate the knowledge of Public Management in the area of Strategic Management of Organisations, both public and private, to optimise decision-making processes, productivity and competitiveness
2. Applied Research in the area of Public Management with interdisciplinary components oriented to both the public and private sectors
3. To train for potential top-level executives in Public Administration, researchers, professors and consultants with sound organisational and multi-disciplinary knowledge of culture, social consciousness and motivation with the view to stimulate modernisation and progress
