IntroductionThe Post-graduation course we present aims to meet the challenges of training, enhancement and deepening of knowledge that emerge from new opportunities in management and businesses in the energy sector.
The accelerated growth of energy consumption, aggressive competition and turbulence in new markets, the question of demand management and access to energy sources, as well as processing, production and distribution of energy, are central issues of contemporary societies
Such situations have emphasized the growing demand for managers, across all sectors of the economy: industry, services and distribution, whether public or private, who are qualified in the area of energy management.
ObjectivesTo provide professional of the sector and/or top management a set of competencies and knowledge in the area of energy management, especially in the following aspects:
• To carry out administrative functions in public or private enterprises, both national and international. As well as to have the capacity to function efficiently in the business world and, acting as an agent of innovation, to understand, interpret and exploit new business opportunities in the areas of energy.
• Solving problems in new situations and in broad contexts and disciplines, together with the capacity to give detailed and scientifically justifiable reasons for decisions taken.
• Improve knowledge related to new businesses in the area of energy and the related techniques of energy management and equipments.
AccessCompany owners, managers, company executives, graduate degree holders who would like to obtain specific competencies in the area of Energy Management.
Equipment & InstallationsISG has modern facilities and equipment and a very generous area-student ratio in the University campus. The Institute also has an auditorium with a seating capacity for 420 people and two auditoria with seating capacity of 120 each; 24 classrooms, a Library and central archives; a language and self-access centre, IT Department; offices and common-rooms for teaching staff; bookshop and stationery; a bar and canteen; meeting rooms and common room for students.
