In a business environment, the implications of taxation are obvious just as Economy, Accounting, Finance, and even Marketing, as well as in the development of society and improvement of the quality of life of citizens in general. It is of great importance, therefore, to provide an education not only to create for good public opinion and also for healthy collective conscience about the tax-payer’s problems. This is certainly the University’s prime responsibility. ISG - Instituto Superior de Gestão has excellent conditions and background to provide in-depth, practical, and sound higher education in the area of Taxation studies. This Post-graduation course in Fiscal Management will prepare students for top management and leadership positions. ObjectivesThe Post-graduation in Management has two kinds of objectives: • Financial: The study of the financial capacities of tax-payers, appreciation of the fiscal and additional fiscal responsibilities borne by the various categories of tax-payers. • Economic and Social: To deepen the integration of the fundamental knowledge of Economy, Accounting, Finance and Law to ensure a common fiscal culture. In addition, it also seeks to create potential researchers, teachers and fiscal consultants who are endowed with up-to-date and multidisciplinary knowledge of organizations, culture, together with a social conscience and motivation to undertake projects of modernization and development. AccessMiddle-management managers and executives, accounts and finance executives, finance executives of the public sector, owners of small and medium-sized companies. Equipment & InstallationsISG has modern facilities and equipment and a very generous area-student ratio in the University campus. The Institute also has an auditorium with a seating capacity for 420 people and two auditoria with seating capacity of 120 each; 24 classrooms, a Library and central archives; a language and self-access centre, IT Department; offices and common-rooms for teaching staff; bookshop and stationery; a bar and canteen; meeting rooms and common room for students.
