Dissertação de Mestrado sobre mercado energético dá prémio de prestigio a aluno do mestrado em Gestão do ISG- Instituto Superior de Gestão

A Entidade Reguladora dos Serviços Energéticos (ERSE) entregou ontem ao final da tarde, em cerimónia pública realizada no centro Cultural de Belém, a 1ª Edição do Prémio ERSE-Regulação ao vencedor José Manuel Brites Borges.

O premiado, licenciado em engenharia mecânica pela Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Lisboa e mestre em Gestão pelo Instituto Superior de Gestão (ISG), venceu a 1ª Edição do Prémio ERSE-Regulação com a dissertação de mestrado “Semelhanças e Contrastes aos Modos de Regulação das Actividades Reguladas, nos Mercados da Electricidade e do Gás Natural, em Portugal”.

O evento contou com as presenças do presidente da ERSE, Professor Doutor Vitor Santos, e do Júri do Prémio, presidido pelo Professor Engenheiro Luís Mira Amaral e constituído pelo Professor Doutor Diogo Leite de Campos e pelo Professor Doutor Pedro Pita Barros.

O Prémio, instituído pela ERSE enquanto entidade responsável pela regulação dos sectores da electricidade e do gás natural, visa dar um contributo para a promoção do estudo dos temas da regulação em Portugal e distinguir os autores dos melhores trabalhos académicos e de investigação neste domínio.

O Prémio ERSE-Regulação contou nesta primeira edição com 14 trabalhos concorrentes.

ISG –Instituto Superior de Gestão, a School of Management is a small private college specialized in the area of management. ISG was founded in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, in 1978. ISG is renowned in the area of education as an innovative multidisciplinary Business School adapted to the requirements of the labour market.

At ISG, education in management takes into account key factors for professionalism, by integrating knowledge and practical work, which focuses on challenges faced by managers in their day-to-day operations.

ISG’s activities are carried out in close collaboration with companies through partnerships with national companies that have widespread operations in the market.

ISG relies on the creation of synergies in higher education, which, while focusing on the scientific component, uses other ways of acquiring knowledge toward professionalism based on the vision “saber-fazer”.- “Know-How”.

ISG has up-to-date equipment made available to students, which is unquestionably the most generous ratio of area/student in the campus.

ISG is located in Lumiar, a fast growing region of greater Lisbon, on a part of what was once the estate of Santa Clara and is the proud owner of the beautiful palacete or Manor House where the top management offices are housed. The school buildings are set in a lovely garden and cover a built-up area of approximately 8600 m² and have facilities that include class rooms, IT laboratories, auditoria, library, administrative services offices, an office for the Students’ Association President and space for extracurricular activities, among others.
The Institute has one auditorium with a seating capacity of 420, two auditoriums, each with a seating capacity of 120, 24 classrooms, a library and archive for documents, self-access centre of languages, computer laboratories, offices and a common room for teachers, bookshop and stationery, bar and canteen, social services centre and a common room for students.

ISG is structured around three scientific Departments that constitute the main institutional units.

ISG currently offers 4 undergraduate Degree programmes, 11 Master Degree programmes, and 10 Post-graduation Degree courses. Additionally, ISG offers a large number of vocational and continuous training courses aligned with the life- long learning development concept. All the courses fulfil the requirements for European Higher Education, and comply with the European Credit Transfer systems (ECTS). All the undergraduate and graduate degrees are in compliance with the principles and norms of the Bologna Directives.
