Founded in 1978, ISG - Business School has been functioning as a reference school in the context of management teaching in Portugal. The project ISG - Business School distinguishes itself among other business schools through its innovative, multidisciplinary courses adapted to the realities of the labour market. At ISG, the key core elements in teaching management is in its intergrated knowledge & practice approach of teaching which reflect the challenges faced by managers on a day-to-day basis. ISG - Business School has centered its activities in close proximity to the business world through forged links with national companies of standing and large market share. ISG - Business School is investing in a generation of synergies for a higher education focusing on the relevant scientific component, applying other forms of knowledge for a superior professional career and focusing on the object "saber-fazer" - "Know-how". ISG has modern facilities and equipment and a very generous area-student ratio in the University campus. Surrounded by open spaces and set in a beautiful garden, the 4 buildings of ISG cover a built-up area of 8600 square metres which include the Palace of Santa Clara, a new building, which houses the administrative services' offices and classrooms, an annex for the offices of the Students' Association and the Academic Music Troupe. The Institute also has an auditorium with a seating capacity for 420 people and two auditoria with seating capacity of 120 each; 24 classrooms, a Library and central archives; a language and self-access centre, IT Department; offices and common-rooms for teaching staff; book shop and stationery; a bar and canteen; meeting rooms and common room for students. |
